My First Opera
The 3rd graders studied and acted out their first opera, "Hansel and Gretel" by Engelbert Humperdinck.

Kindergarteners Study Marches
John Philip Sousa was known as the "March King." The kindergarteners listened to two of his marches, The Stars and Stripes Forever and Semper Fidelis. Then we marched around the room, keeping the steady beat with paper plate "cymbals."
